Who is the Blue-Tail? He is a vagrant, a wanderer, with a soul that is full
of light, darkness, and adventure. He is a hawk..a hawk with an epic
tale to tell..
In the vast, incandescence of heaven, he deliberately threw himself into
a void of unspeakable terror and bliss. This void is nameless, it is as old
as time itself, and within this realm are the pathways to worlds filled
with stories and dreams. As he travels this place, he flies through
colorful, electrifying tunnels, which eventually lead him to gateways.
These gateways are the doors to realms that are the sub-reality of our
world. Here a story will unfold. The hawk must watch this story from its
beginning to its very end to deserve the rite of passage back into the
void. Once back again, he must fly on until he finds yet another
doorway to yet another story. And so it continues until his purpose has
been fulfilled and he finds the gateway back to heaven. Each book I
write is a story that the Blue-Tail has witnessed upon his journey. He
traverses thousands of stories, but only the main ones I write will have
the most significance to the main epic. As of now, many stories will fall
in his legacy, his epic journey..the exact number is not known. When
the hawk is within each story his presence is not known by anyone or
anything. He is but a soul, a phantom, if you will, that follows along
and sees through the eyes of the sky, earth, water, and characters
involved. The hawk is to the story what the story is to the hawk. They
are one and the same. Near the end, or after the end of the last stories I
write, I will write the story of the Blue-Tail himself. In that book all will
be revealed. Who he really is. What happened before and after the tales.
And most importantly, his purpose will be known. Through all the
stories, however, I may place names, images, and quotes that will give
enlightenment to unanswered questions before the final story is told.
Below is The Flight of the Blue-Tail, a poetic piece that describes who
